Although I'd been introduced to meditation when I was young, I thought if I were serious about teaching meditation full-time, it was important to gain a qualification. So, I enrolled on the BSoMeditation Teacher Training course, little knowing how significantly it would change my life.
The BSoM course, which is externally accredited by Ascentis and recognised by the government agency OFQUAL, was exactly what I was looking for. I loved every minute of the course-even the course work! I learned such a lot about the different types and techniques of meditation and the scientific evidence that supports the benefits. My own practice was revitalized, and I was delighted to gain my diploma with a distinction. I now consistently practise meditation twice a day and can't imagine life without it!
The BSoM course gave me the tools and support I needed to launch my own business as a meditation teacher. Since then, I've worked with children, families and schools, met many wonderful people, and enjoyed both teaching the practice of meditation and the freedom of running my own business.
Alongside, this, I'm a Sound Healing with the Voice Practitioner (CoSH) and have a qualification in holding 'Sound Baths'. I love Sanskrit and have studied and taught it for many years. I am also a Consultant for the Independent Association of Prep Schools and a mentor to new Headteachers, and I am a Parent Advisor for Talk Education.
I was delighted to be asked to join the team at the BSoM and completed my training as a tutor. I am really looking forward to supporting you in your journey of becoming an accredited Meditation Teacher.
If you have any questions about the course, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Testimonials
"Catherine is one of those people everyone wants to be around. She's a unique mix of calm, quiet confidence and curiosity, which results in a confidante of immense insight, serene reflection and infectious, instinctive optimism. When she told us she was becoming an accredited meditation teacher, it felt like the perfect next step. After all, she was wildly successful in living and teaching mindfulness to school children (and their parents), so using that talent for a wider audience seems like the obvious way for Catherine to put her calling to good use."
