Are you looking for a meditation teacher? Someone who has been thoroughly trained and is on a Register of Meditation Teachers? Then you are in the right place.

British School of Meditation Trained

All the teachers on this site have been trained by The British School of Meditation. They have undergone a rigorous programme of face to face training and written assignments. The course the teachers undertake has been externally accredited by Ascentis

This external accreditation by a nationally recognised body, regulated by the government agency, OFQUAL, assures you that the training has been scrutinised and validated. You can therefore have confidence that the training received was of a high standard.

The BSoM worked closely with the Open College Network South West Region ( now Ascentis ) to devise the scheme of work and students who meet the criteria receive both a diploma from the BSoM and a certificate from Ascents This qualification has Ofqual recognition. Ascentis is now our awarding body.

All the teachers on the Register have not only completed and passed their training course; they have also met the following criteria to be placed on the BSoM Register:

They have signed our Code of Ethics and Practice
They have full public liability insurance
They commit to undertake at least 15 hours of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) a year.

All BSoM Teachers must provide a current valid certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) formerly known as the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and regularly update, as required by law.

The British School of Meditation has been established to train teachers in meditation techniques to meet the growing demand for highly trained and accredited meditation teachers throughout the UK including: the Midlands, South West, Wales, North West, North East, London and the South East.
