We support dedicated professionals to develop a successful Meditation Teacher business so they can create a life on their terms, without compromising their existing lifestyle.’
My name is Sarah Presley and I first discovered the amazing benefits of meditation in 2000 whilst recovering from M.E. Over time, as my interest in meditation grew, my personal practice developed and I now meditate at least once a day, as well as creating lots of mindful moments during the day – this helps me to feel really calm, focused and centred which gives huge benefits to my health and wellbeing. Now enjoying optimum health, I have worked as a teacher and practitioner of holistic therapes since 2002 helping to empower individuals with both their personal and professional development.
In 2013, I felt the next natural step was to become a Meditation Teacher and choosing an accredited course which provided face-to-face training was important to me. The British School of Meditation fitted the bill, especially as their course is externally accredited with Ascentis (previously The Open College Network South West Region Ltd and then trading as apt awards) and also recognised by the government agency, OFQUAL. I really enjoyed the whole experience with the British School of Meditation and felt the training was very professional and very supportive - I really felt ready to go out to teach once the course had completed. After qualifiying, with a distinction, I have found my meditation classes to be really popular and I enjoy teaching Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced groups as well as many individuals on a 1-to-1 basis. I also spent a year teaching meditation in a school to children with medical, social and complex health issues and I was amazed at their response and acceptance of meditation techniques.
In 2014, my love of meditation took me to the next level to train as a trainer with the British School of Meditation. This qualification is also accredited by Ascentis, and recognised nationally by the Government agency, OFQUAL. I feel very honoured to be a part of the British School of Meditation team and to be running the Meditation Teacher Training for the South West region. I really enjoy teaching and supporting students through the process to become a Meditation Teacher and, as I attended the course myself, I have a complete understanding of the students own experience. I am very much looking forward to hearing from you, and providing the training and support to help you to take the next steps to becoming an accredited Meditation Teacher.
